Hi I’m Red and I take great joy in riding waves in as many different ways possible. Be it regular surfing, bodysurfing, belly boarding/paipo, Mat riding or bodyboarding I love it all. At the moment I think my favourite is bodysurfing the most hollow waves I can find . Crazy wedging shorebreaks, psycho slabs and shallow reefs are my happy place 🤙

I’m Greg, I enjoy surfing various boards, but especially love to noseride on my logs. I’ve travelled the world to surf and competed in a fair few comps over the years, with a number of trophies along the way.

Of all the places I’ve been, I feel lucky to live where I do.
‍
Appledore is close to some really fun waves and a perfect place to bring up my family, who love the beach.
‍
My wife Holly and I have 3 kids, the eldest Sonny is 6 and already outback and hooked on surfing. I’m keen to share my knowledge with the next generation.
Work wise, I’m the Operations Manger of South West Construction and Building Maintenance company, WMS.

Lewis Pettit

am a transplant from frigid waters of Scotland to the balmy South West! I grew up following my father around the Scottish mountains learning to climb and understand wild environments. A trip to Thurso changed my life when I saw perfect waves for the first time and realised that surfing was going to become an obsession.

I spent a good few years exploring the fickle coast of Scotland, finding new spots, and spending way too much time crunching forecast data before moving to the North Devon in 2014. I soon fell in love with the environment and the waves down here as well as the local surf community. I feel really fortunate that I have the flexibility to surf most swells and I am happiest sneaking away for a dawnie on a cold winter morning at some fickle little corner of the coast
