The idea behind this edit was to get out of our comfort zone and crest something different to what we have been doing recently, homage to our playground for International Sufing Day 2020.

Although still fully aimed at surfing we wanted to take a more artistic approach in terms of the types of footage used and not focusing on the level of skill per clip but more on how the images looked. Draw emotional attachment from it.

This didn’t stop with the visuals, we also tried to translate it through the audio too, in a sense of breaking out from what we had considered as our normal style and trying to create something more powerful, that left lots of space in the viewers mind to imagine and feel more in sync with the edit.

We hope you enjoy this edit, we are eagerly awaiting the next project that takes more of an artistic direction like this one.
